Frau Trude in Hanau

Great location, super delicious high quality food at reasonable prices.

Unfortunately, our steak was too cooked even though we ordered it meduim. Maybe it will work better another time.

Bought a rump steak cook box today and made it at home. It was perfect. The meat, as well as the side dishes, butter and the sauces were very good. The box looked great too. In addition, the food was cooked in 20 minutes.

The best meat ever, in a great location, the drive to Hanau is always worth it 🥰

Service very attentive and nice staff. Best fries and dips in Hanau. Prices are not for everyone. But I can only recommend it ... it's a taste explosion ❤️❤️❤️

Food and service highly recommended. I hope that Ms. Trude will be able to reopen in December 2020 after the prescribed closure.

Ambience good, staff friendly, good wine. But ... I had hoped for more taste for this price, not only with the steaks, but also with the side dishes. I can get the steak quality elsewhere in Hanau for a better price. Still four stars, I'll try again.

Fabulous food thanks! We visited early Saturday afternoon. Very good service, and if you wondering what to eat instead of steak, the Trüffel Tortelloni is delicious.

A very nice atmosphere in the middle of Hanau. Tidy and varied furnishings at the same time, you feel good and the clear concept fits the point. The meat was perfectly cooked, the wine recommendation rounds off everything. Why do I subtract a point? The service was a little too high, we were sometimes approached too often and served by two waiters. Since both waiters tried very hard, it was just too much of a good thing now and then. Whining at a high level, there are worse things. Clearly you have to eat here.

Too expensive and ok nothing much, but cosy place

We became aware of the restaurant through the program "Mein Lokal, Dein Lokal". What you saw there was also offered live on site. The place has a nice style, with a mix of urban and industrial, which we really liked. The service was consistently friendly, quick and questions were gladly answered in detail. As far as the food is concerned, it is of course clear that it is mainly about meat, as it is in the name (steak & wine). There are "standard cuts" such as rump steak, file and Co., but also a selection of changing pieces of meat. When we were there there was e.g. Tomahawk steaks. But there are also other dishes such as burgers, salads and a few vegetarian or vegan dishes. When it comes to drinks, there is also a large selection of wines, gins and beers and of course non-alcoholic drinks. We were also lucky enough to be able to chat with Nabila thanks to a quieter Sunday evening and learn more about the show. We were very impressed with the whole package that was offered to us. The store is a clear recommendation, not just for meat lovers. We will definitely come again! Greetings from Groß-Gerau. 😁

Delicious! The quality is right and the restaurant is very comfortably furnished. But I can't understand the price of the "Trude im Glück" burger. A veggie burger that costs as much as a cheeseburger with organic meat. Otherwise great!

The advice and service here is really excellent. The starter was good and the cooked steaks were perfect. Unfortunately, one of the steaks was tougher than the other, even though both were of the same cut. The rooms are very nicely designed, but the view is not necessarily the most beautiful. It's just the location.

Food was great. Unfortunately, we waited an hour for it and the onions were still on the burger even though they had been canceled. Otherwise everything was great, the service was nice and could give good advice. All in all I would go again

The steaks are really delicious and the quality is very good. The staff is very nice and you feel very comfortable. I think the side dishes are clearly too small and insufficient for EUR 4.50. The dessert is very tasty, but I think EUR 8.50 is definitely too expensive for the small portions.

Best steak house in town!

Really nice restaurant with a feel-good factor! Great fresh food with a clear map. The staff is super friendly! You have to plan a little time here, as it all takes a little longer. Maybe that's why it's so charming? Here you should feel comfortable and spend a lot of time. I'm personally rather impatient. The food here is of top quality, which you can also expect from the prices. Gladly again !

Best shop. Really nice service, there are tables outside, but also inside is a great atmosphere. All wishes are fulfilled. Price and performance are right, we'll be back.

A clear and warmest recommendation for all steak and wine fans! But other dishes can be found on the menu and veggies and vegans are also thought of. The selection of appetizers is terrific and we have recommended the salmon Ceviche, which was an absolute delicacy. As a main course there was on the one hand a fried filet with potato mash and corncobs. There was also a great burger with polenta, delicious shrimp and a vegetarian burger. Every single dish was an absolute poem of its own. The desserts Brownie and Mousse au Chocolat brought us the crowning glory. There is a huge praise for the incredibly great service! Upon entering the location, we were aware that special emphasis was placed on it. We would have liked to take our dear waiter with us. Haha After the Cubana had to give way to the Trude and we were very sad about it at first, there is now a very different opinion: We will miss the Cubana, but think the Trude can comfort us in this way. The interior is now much cleaner and offers more seating than before. You have to realize that the price justifies the excellent service and the excellent food.

They didn't open at the time given at their site and then didn't have the real menu (how can it be, that a steak place hasn't a single steak on a special occassion menu?) - would have been fine, when they would have posted it on their website and I would be allowed to eat everything... They were also really impolite about it. When we asked for a tea, the waitress could only be bothered making one little pot of tea for both of us. Since the menu, we were allowed to choose from, was bad, this was a good thing in the end.
